1. Who we are

aQuolley® is a water-sports brand based at Lake Balaton, Hungary. We are the data controller for the personal data processed through this website (aquolley.com). For any privacy question, write to us at info@aquolley.com.

2. What we collect

• Almost nothing. There is no account and no login on this site.
• Anonymous, cookieless statistics — we measure only coarse, non-personal usage (approximate region, pages viewed) with a privacy-friendly tool, to keep the site secure and improve it.
• One functional cookie that simply remembers your chosen language. No advertising or tracking cookies.
• Only if you write to us — when you use the contact forms or email us, we receive the details you provide (such as your name, email and message) so we can reply.

3. How we use your data

• To reply to your enquiries and prepare quotes.
• To keep the website secure and improve it, using anonymous, aggregate statistics.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the basis of our legitimate interest (keeping the site secure and improving it with privacy-friendly statistics) and, when you contact us, to take pre-contractual steps and handle your request. Where you tick an optional consent box, we also rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Third-party services

• Web3Forms — when you submit a contact form, this service delivers your message to us by email. It processes only what you enter in the form.
• Umami — cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics that measures only anonymous, aggregate usage.
• YouTube (no-cookie mode) — videos load only when you click play; until then, no tracking happens. Once a video starts, YouTube processes data under its own policy.
• Google Fonts — used to render the site's typefaces.

6. Data retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet our legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@aquolley.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Hungary this is the NAIH (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, naih.hu).
